==Club career==
Bauer joined FC Ingolstadt 04 in 2014 from Karlsruher SC. He made his 2. Bundesliga debut on 31 October 2014 against Fortuna Düsseldorf. He replaced Alfredo Morales at half-time in a 0-0 away draw.
